Protectors of SonMina
this is a section within our club where we give our opinions to the various arguements against Sonic/Mina out there. It's not to force dissenters into agreeing with us, but to at the very least give them another perspective to consider. It will however effectively try to disprove anything that is based entirely on false information (such as the whole "species" arguement). Also, not all of our members are going to be just pro SonMina. While some people might argue comparisons from different pairings (which may or may not stay allowed) not every member will choose to do so. We also forbid bashing of any kind. If you must mention something you don't like, you have to support it or it will be ommitted. You are also not to make any personal disputes with other people public.
NOTE:Finally, incredibly long responses to arguements will be going in other journals to save room. If you are among these people I only hope you read this.
So... lets get to our arguments
Sonic and Mina aren't the same species.
If you read the "home" story arc, then you will remember a scene between the president and King Acorn where they reffer to the anthromorphs like Sonic and Mina as "Mobosapiens", and humans as "homosapiens". What that means is that all the furry animals are the same species. Sonic and Mina are simply different races. Sonic is a hedgehog Mobosapien, and Mina is a mongoose Mobosapien. Mobosapiens of different races have also been shown to produce children. Rob O' hedge for instance ended up with a female Echidna Mari-an (sp?) and they have a fully echidna child. Also Princess Sally has parents of two different races and she is a squirrel like one of her parents.Sonic hasn't been through thick and thin with Mina

That's not true. That's absolutely not true. Sonic and Sally are sort of on thin ice right now. Sonic's with Fiona, no? I'm sure that would have to make a gap between them, a growing gap. The SonicXSally love is vanishing slowly. But maybe there are also some Fiona fans out there. What about Fiona? Do you honestly think Sonic and Fiona will last? If you do, I'm sorry but I have to disagree. Fiona doesn't seem to me like the loyal, best-girlfriend-in-the-universe type. Let's see where Sonic and Fiona are in a few months. In a few weeks.
So coming back to Sonic and Mina, I think she's the only real girl he's ever met. Real meaning honest, truthful, self-sacrificing, dependable and loyal. They could work out if Sonic sees past Fiona and Sally. Mina was ALWAYS there for Sonic and she's ALWAYS loved him through thick and thin. Everyone knows how confused Sonic can get with his love-life, so give him time to figure it out. I'm betting he will come back to Mina.
1. Aren't real girls more than just honest, truthful, self sacrificing, dependable and loyal?
2. Is Mina honest when she told Ash she loved him, was she being loyal when her heart wandered to Sonic?
I'm only asking because I don't want people to be confused about what you're saying.
